KPMG Law advises Robert Bosch on the carve-out of the building technologies division’s product business for security and communications technology (Bosch Building Technologies) in more than 30 jurisdictions in connection with the sale to the European investment firm Triton.
KPMG Law accompanied the legal team of Robert Bosch, a multinational engineering and electronics company headquartered in Gerlingen near Stuttgart, Germany, in the carve-out of the building technologies division’s product business for security and communications technology (Bosch Building Technologies) in more than 30 jurisdictions as part of the sale to European investment firm Triton. The carved-out and divested business is a leading global provider of innovative solutions for security and professional communication. Its range includes intelligent product solutions in the areas of video systems, access control systems, intrusion detection systems and communication systems. The business generates sales of more than one billion euros with around 4,300 employees at 90 locations.
The Bosch legal team comprised in particular Matthias Klatt, Ulrike Acker, Jonathan Burton, Rainer Bischof, Kathrin Rettner and Uwe Schneider.
The KPMG Law team was led by Munich partner Dr. Ian Maywald and comprised in the German core team Jasmin Kluike, Moritz Stenbock Fermor, Kathrin Brügger and Jonas Brueckner. In total, the legal team comprised around 100 lawyers of different network firms across all jurisdictions involved worldwide.
