KPMG Law and KPMG advise Icape Germany on acquisition of Safa2000

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) and KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (KPMG) advised Icape Deutschland GmbH on the acquisition of all shares in the Safa2000 Group.

Icape Germany is part of the Icape Group, which is headquartered in France. Since 1999, the group has been a supplier of printed circuit boards and customized technical parts produced in China. The company has subsidiaries in 20 countries and employs around 600 people. Every month, it delivers about 26 million printed circuit boards and 6 million technical parts to about 3000 customers in 70 countries.

Safa2000, based in Munich, specializes in the distribution of printed circuit boards and passive components. The company cooperates with production facilities in China and with manufacturers specialized in the production of inductive components and EMC filters.

KPMG Law conducted legal due diligence in connection with the acquisition, advised on the structuring of the transaction, the share purchase agreement and its legal implementation. In doing so, KPMG Law worked with a cross-location team primarily from the areas of corporate law/M&A, employment law and antitrust law.
