#moreValues
Values that we live every day worldwide for ourselves and our clients

We employ people from different nations and cultures. Through our actions, we want to give our company a uniform face despite all the diversity of a global organization. Clients of KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) can therefore expect the same high quality, trustworthiness and reliability anywhere in the world.

Our values and our Code of Conduct provide valuable guidance for our daily work. As a result, all KPMG Law partners and employees in every location worldwide know what we expect of them and what they can expect from us.

We have agreed on a set of common values. They define our corporate culture and are our obligation in our personal and professional conduct.

#moreResponsibility

We observe the development of the markets impartially and with a critical eye to see what effects they have for our clients. The conditions under which we work are demanding. Our good name as one of the leading legal services stems from the way our employees respond to these conditions and deal with clients and colleagues. For this reason, we offer a working environment in which everyone can be successful, develop optimally and in which performance is encouraged. In this way, we have created a corporate culture that promotes strengths and identifies development potential in mutual respect for one another. We want our employees to be able to develop their personalities and realize their full potential.

#moreGrowth

KPMG Law creates the necessary scope for the personal development of its employees and invests specifically in training and continuing education. Our goal is to create attractive jobs for all our employees. We aspire to be the employer in our industry that the best cannot pass by. This means taking responsibility toward employees really seriously. We have the tools to do this. Our values, to which we are committed worldwide, set high standards for competence and conduct. In this way, our customers benefit many times over from our experience, analyses, perspectives and ideas.

#moreDiversity

At KPMG, diversity stands for a culture of mutual respect, regardless of age, limitations, gender, sexual orientation and identity, ethnic or cultural origin, and religion. We value our employees as unique personalities and benefit from their different experiences and life histories. We want to support our employees to be themselves and to bring their individuality into the team. We are convinced that diversity makes us unique, strong and attractive. This makes us the Clear Choice for outstanding employees and for our customers. In 2007, we were one of the first companies to sign the Diversity Charter. With more than 1,600 co-signatories, the Charter is Germany’s largest initiative to promote diversity in German business, science and public administration.

As a company, we are not just an economic player. At the same time, we feel an obligation to society and the environment in which we live and do business.

For Better. We do what really matters.

The basis of our actions and our responsibility as a company are our values. The value “For Better. We do what really counts” from our set of values requires us to reconcile economic success with social and ecological aspects. We are not only an economic player, but at the same time feel committed to society and the environment in which we live and do business. High social standards in our company are therefore just as essential elements of our corporate culture as a diverse commitment to the common good and initiatives for environmental and climate protection.

The KPMG Law sustainability strategy

For us, sustainability is based on an integrative concept, encompassing economic, social and ecological aspects. The aim is to ensure the long-term successful development of the company. To meet the long-term conditions, we have begun to implement appropriate structures, processes and programs. In the process, the approaches to corporate social responsibility established in recent years were developed further in a targeted manner and sustainability management was interlinked with relevant fields of action such as risk and quality management as well as human resources management.
