Daniel Kaut advises companies as lead partner on national and international M&A transactions. His focus is on the legal management of complex buy and sell side processes from structuring and negotiation to signing and closing.
Daniel advises on strategic company acquisitions and sales as well as carve-outs, joint ventures and corporate restructurings. He regularly takes on the overall coordination of legal advice and acts as a central point of contact for management, shareholders and investors. His clients include listed groups, family-run industrial companies, financial investors and the public sector.
When managing mandates, Daniel consistently classifies complex issues according to their relevance for the transaction and accompanies his clients with a clear eye for market standards, timing and results until the transaction is safely concluded.
As a partner at KPMG Law, Daniel has overall responsibility for legal advice in the areas of corporate, M&A, employment law and antitrust law and heads a department with thirteen partners and a total of over sixty lawyers.
