Companies should always set up a governance structure that covers every subject area.
They should start implementing this as soon as they can, even if they only manage to achieve 80 percent at first. They can and should make improvements later.
ESG governance should be set up by multidisciplinary teams and harmonized with the company’s corporate strategy and ESG reporting.
