KPMG Law and KPMG advised Senstar on the acquisition of Blickfeld

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) and KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (KPMG) advised Senstar group (Senstar) on the acquisition of all shares in Blickfeld GmbH (Blickfeld).

Senstar is an international provider of comprehensive physical, video, and access control security products and solutions. Senstar is based in Canada and is led by Senstar Technologies CorporationThrough the acquisition of Blickfeld, Senstar intends to expand its business and the services offered by both Senstar and its German subsidiary, Senstar GmbH.

Blickfeld is a producer of 3D LiDAR (Light Detecting and Ranging) sensors with integrated software for security, volume monitoring, industrial and traffic applications.

KPMG Law conducted the legal due diligence and provided legal advice on the drafting and negotiation of the underlying transaction documentation and with regard to antitrust and foreign direct investment law. KPMG Law worked together with the deal advisory and tax teams of KPMG who carried out the financial and tax due diligence and advised on financial and tax matters of the transaction documentation.
