Biography

Dr. Daniel Taraz works as a lawyer at the Hamburg office in the field of IT, data and data protection law. His focus is on the interdisciplinary combination of law and technology. He has taken the lead in setting up platforms for data protection compliance and has provided comprehensive legal support to companies. He focuses on the data protection-friendly design of IT projects (privacy by design) and advice in the context of digital transformation, new technologies and business models.
He also specializes in providing legal advice to companies on software license compliance issues and has, in particular, supported numerous SAP S/4HANA conversion projects, advised on a wide range of compliance issues and prepared corresponding license and contract management and transferred it into governance structures.
