Before joining KPMG Law in 2017, Hannes Schwinn worked for several years in the central legal department of Mercedes-Benz Group AG (formerly Daimler AG) in the area of antitrust law and merger control. He studied law in Constance, Lyon (where he obtained his Licence en Droit) and Heidelberg, and also earned his doctorate on an antitrust law topic in Heidelberg.
