KPMG Law advises Deutsche Bahn subsidiary DB Netz AG on the acquisition of SIGNON Deutschland GmbH

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) provided legal advice to DB Netz AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn AG, on the acquisition of SIGNON Deutschland GmbH from TÜV Süd AG.

SIGNON Deutschland GmbH, founded in 1993, is a provider of cross-trade consulting and engineering services for innovative projects in mass transit and mainline transportation. SIGNON plans railroad systems and their equipment with software, control and safety technology, railroad power supply and telecommunication systems. She has assisted clients in more than 6,000 projects worldwide from technical consulting to implementation.

DB Netz AG, the rail infrastructure company of Deutsche Bahn AG responsible for the operation and maintenance of Europe’s largest rail network, has purchased all shares in SIGNON Deutschland GmbH from the internationally active German service company TÜV Süd AG.

In particular, KPMG Law conducted the legal due diligence and assisted in the purchase agreement negotiations.
