Biography

Mathias Oberndörfer is Managing Partner and Managing Director of KPMG Law and Divisional Director Public Sector of KPMG in Germany.

He advises a large number of companies in various sectors, both nationally and internationally. His particular focus is on the public sector. He advises federal ministries, federal states, large municipalities as well as non-profit organizations and foundations. A central aspect of his work is supporting his clients in the transformation driven by digitalization and ESG requirements.

Mathias was admitted to the bar in 2001 and has worked for KPMG since 2005. He was promoted to partner in 2009.
