KPMG Law becomes a member of the Liquid Legal Institute

A classic win-win situation: KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) becomes a new member of Liquid Legal Institute e.V. (LLI). Together, the two partners want to further advance and actively shape the digitalization of the legal market.

To achieve these goals, KPMG Law’s members include Philipp Glock, partner and location manager of the Leipzig office, and Kai Jacob, partner at the Frankfurt office, as well as 15 other firm members at LLI, who together with the other partners will take the next steps toward digitizing the legal market.

Philipp Glock: “As Head of IT & Innovation at KPMG Law, I am particularly pleased that we have joined a leading network for the innovative further development of law. Our strong expertise in the area of transformation and new technologies enables us to promote and actively shape the LLI’s goal even more than before. For example, KPMG Law is already contributing to the Innovation Management Framework project. I am very much looking forward to working together to achieve our common goals under the motto “Let’s design the future” with a like-minded partner like LLI.”

KPMG Law has been focusing on topics related to digitalization and innovation for years. In Legal Operations & Technology Services in particular, KPMG Law covers numerous topics relating to the transformation of the legal department and its digitalization. In the past, attorneys outside of their work at KPMG Law and the LLI already worked together successfully on various projects. This cooperation is to be deepened by the corporate membership.

Founded in 2018, LLI is a non-profit organization that develops the topics of digitalization and standardization of the legal market. The LLI sees itself as a neutral platform that addresses all stakeholder groups, be it corporate legal departments, law firms, administration, universities, start-ups, etc., stimulates an exchange and accompanies them on their way to digitalization.
