KPMG Law, KPMG Law AT as well as KPMG in Germany and KPMG in Austria advise GOLDBECK GmbH on the acquisition of 50 percent of the shares in ZAUNERGROUP Holding GmbH

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) and Buchberger Ettmayer Rechtsanwälte GmbH (KPMG Law AT) as well as KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (KPMG in Germany) and KPMG Austria GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungs- und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft (KPMG in Austria) advised GOLDBECK GmbH on the acquisition of 50 percent of the shares in ZAUNERGROUP Holding GmbH. The German-Austrian team provided comprehensive legal, tax and financial support for the transaction.

In addition to conducting the legal, tax and financial due diligence, KPMG Law and KPMG Law AT were responsible in particular for negotiating and implementing the transaction documentation.

ZAUNERGROUP is a leading international specialist in industrial plant and pipeline construction and covers the entire value chain – from engineering, production and assembly to the commissioning of complex systems such as those used in data centers.

KPMG Law was responsible for providing legal advice, particularly in the areas of corporate/M&A, employment law and regulatory issues. KPMG Tax was responsible for the tax due diligence of the transaction.

KPMG Finance supported the transaction with independent financial due diligence and financial-related issues, in particular in connection with valuation advice.
