KPMG Law advises Mosolf on the sale of shares in Tropos Motors Europe to Cenntro Electric Group

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) advised Mosolf SE & Co. KG (Mosolf) on the legal aspects of the sale of shares in Tropos Motors Europe GmbH (Tropos) to Cenntro Electric Group, Inc. (Cenntro) advised.

Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Kirchheim unter Teck, Mosolf is a technology service provider and logistics service provider for the international automotive industry, manufacturers of agricultural and construction machinery, the car rental and leasing business and the automotive trade. Cenntro has acquired 65% of the shares in Tropos.

Cenntro is part of the Cenntro Electric Group, an electric vehicle technology company focused on scalable, decentralized production and digitalized solutions for autonomous driving. Cenntro has produced and delivered over 3,600 commercial electric vehicles in more than 26 countries.

KPMG Law, together with the law firm Wackenhuth & Unterriker, provided comprehensive legal advice on the vendor due diligence as well as the drafting and negotiation of the contractual framework underlying the transaction. KPMG Law worked closely with the tax advisors of KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft.
