Marc Goldberg

Marc Goldberg: Transformation companion in the energy industry.

Everyone is talking about renewable energies and so is Marc Goldberg. Because in times when electricity is supposed to be sustainable and energy prices can go through the roof, companies need alternatives. Some electricity consumers are becoming producers themselves. Energy suppliers and grid operators as well as energy-intensive companies are facing a profound change. It’s a good thing that there are specialists like Marc Goldberg. The expert in energy law supports the energy sector and energy-intensive companies during the transformation and advises them on their energy supply issues.

Marc Goldberg

His mission

  • Marc works with companies to develop strategies for a low-cost, secure and sustainable energy supply.
  • Together with his team, he repositions energy suppliers and grid operators for the transformation. He works with them to expand renewable energy generation plants and their (distribution) infrastructure, ensures that laws are complied with and clarifies financing with them.
  • Marc is also involved in the internal realignment. Because he knows that companies need new skills and often their own departments for such a major transformation.

His approach

The energy strategy also includes new and adapted supply concepts and service portfolios, which Marc develops with his clients. Marc usually has his colleagues from KPMG’s management consultancy department at his side. This is because strategic decisions require both technical expertise and sound business know-how as well as an assessment of the legal framework. With a multidisciplinary team and, if required, the global KPMG legal network, he supports companies both in the development of their strategy and in its implementation.
