Merle Bock has been working as a lawyer in the Legal Corporate Services department at KPMG Law since 2022. She studied law at the University of Münster and at the Université des Antilles in Martinique (France). During her legal traineeship, she worked at the European Commission (Directorate-General for Competition) in Brussels and at the General Court of the European Union in Luxembourg.
Her practice focuses on advising German and international companies on measures to optimize group and shareholding structures, including national and cross-border measures under reorganization law. She also advises management and supervisory bodies, in particular on issues of corporate governance and stock corporation law, as well as on all issues of general corporate law.
Ms. Bock works closely and in an interdisciplinary manner with colleagues from the areas of auditing, tax advice and consulting within KPMG and is regularly involved in multidisciplinary projects. She also cooperates with colleagues from the international KPMG network, in particular on cross-border and international projects.
Merle Bock completed the LL.M. program “Corporate Succession, Inheritance Law & Assets” at the JurGrad in Münster and is a member of the JurGrad Alumni e.V.
