KPMG Law strengthens corporate law/M&A with Roland Hens

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) is strengthening its Corporate Law/M&A practice: Dr. Roland Hens will start as a Partner at the Cologne office on January 1, 2023.

Dr. Roland Hens joins from PwC Legal, where he worked since 2012, most recently as an equity partner. Previously, he worked at DLA Piper. On January 1, 2023, he will move to KPMG Law, where he will strengthen the Corporate/M&A practice at the Cologne office as a partner.

Dr. Roland Hens provides legal advice to his clients in M&A transactions on all corporate and contractual aspects of the entire deal cycle, as well as on joint ventures. In addition, he specializes in corporate law reorganizations and general corporate law advice. His clients include national and international corporates, their management bodies and private equity companies.

The expansion of KPMG Law’s Corporate/M&A practice is embedded in a long-term strategy: “In a dynamic market, KPMG Law offers significant added value with its integrated legal, tax and commercial advice on M&A transactions,” says Dr. Daniel Kaut, who heads and is expanding the German M&A practice at KPMG Law. “With Dr. Roland Hens, we have found an experienced and well-connected transaction expert and partner colleague who will actively support us in our further development in this area.”

Dr. Hens holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) in M&A from the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster.
