KPMG Law further expands legal tech expertise with Simon Ahammer
KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH continues to invest in its capacities in the area of legal tech and strengthens its Munich office with Simon Ahammer.
Under the leadership of Philipp Glock, Partner and responsible for the Legal Technology division, Simon Ahammer has been contributing his extensive expertise to the strategic direction of the Legal Tech division as Senior Manager since December. He contributes to the development of digital solutions for clients and internal developments.
Simon Ahammer was admitted to the Munich bar in 1998 and developed software for law firms during his studies, including case management systems and applications for project accounting. From 2006 to 2017, Ahammer was head of internal software development at Beiten Burkhardt and, in addition to leading the team, was himself involved in the conceptualization, design, programming and training of internal applications for time recording, billing and contact management, among others. He then worked as Head of Legal Tech at the legal publisher C. H. Beck, and also as a project manager at Wolters Kluwer and at two legal tech startups.
