KPMG Law further expands IP practice with Dr. Thomas Beyer
KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH strengthens its intellectual property team in Berlin with Dr. Thomas Beyer.
As of January 1, 2020, Dr. Thomas Beyer has joined KPMG Law as Senior Manager in the field of intellectual property at the Berlin office. KPMG Law is thus further expanding its IP practice, after Dr. Anna-Kristine Wipper joined KPMG Law as a partner together with two female attorneys in October last year.
“In an internationally networked economy, the protection of intellectual property is becoming increasingly important,” comments Dr. Anna-Kristine Wipper, Head of IP Law at KPMG Law. “With Thomas Beyer, we are gaining a proven expert for our growing practice.”
Beyer joins from IP law firm Preu Bohlig & Partner, where he worked since 2007. He is a specialist in intellectual property law and advises international corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups. He focuses in particular on trademark, patent, design, competition and copyright law. He has extensive experience in the strategic conception, filing, administration and defense of national, European and international intellectual property rights as well as in the drafting and examination of complex contracts in a national and international context. Senior Manager at KPMG Law is equivalent to Salary Partner status.
