KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) and KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft (KPMG) provided comprehensive advice to the shareholders of Frerk Aggregatebau GmbH (Frerk) on the sale of all shares to DEUTZ Aktiengesellschaft (DEUTZ).

KPMG Law supported the transaction with a cross-service and cross-location team on legal issues. An interdisciplinary team from KPMG contributed its expertise in the areas of M&A, finance and tax to all transaction-related issues.

Frerk is a medium-sized manufacturer in the field of development and production of power generation systems and emergency power generators. The existing shareholders will remain with the company in various functions and positions in the future.

By acquiring Frerk, DEUTZ is expanding its portfolio in the field of decentralized energy supply and is benefiting in particular from the increasing use of digital technologies and the expansion of AI applications.

Completion of the transaction is subject to the usual reservations, in particular antitrust approval, and is expected to take place during the first quarter of 2026.
