Biography

Heiko Hoffmann is a partner at KPMG Law and heads the Munich office as well as the Compliance, Tax & Commercial Law Cluster with currently about 20 criminal defense lawyers.

As a lawyer and tax advisor, he has been advising national and international companies for over 25 years on corporate transactions, the purchase and sale of companies, restructuring and corporate law.

Another focus of his practice is defense counseling vis-à-vis law enforcement authorities in criminal tax cases. Heiko Hoffmann advises his clients on the identification of risks under criminal tax law and the law on fines as well as comprehensively and in a solution-oriented manner on subsequent declarations and voluntary disclosures. In addition, he represents and defends clients in criminal tax and administrative fine proceedings.
