
Shortly after coming into force, the Location Promotion Act is apparently already having a noticeable effect on the investment plans of institutional market participants. In a recent survey of asset managers and institutional investors, a clear majority rated the new law positively.
KPMG Law expert Marc Pussar tells dpn Magazine:
Photovoltaics and storage systems combine several attractive features for investments. They are technologically established, scalable and can often be implemented relatively quickly. With the simplified framework conditions of the Site Promotion Act, projects can reach investment maturity more quickly and thus become interesting for institutional investors and companies alike.”
