KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) wins Dr. Ian M. Maywald as Equity Partner for its M&A practice in Munich.
Dr. Ian M. Maywald (41) joined the Munich office of KPMG Law as Equity Partner on January 1, 2021. Dr. Maywald began his career in 2010 at Linklaters in Frankfurt and most recently worked for Ashurst in the Munich office, specializing in M&A, corporate finance and capital markets law. Dr. Maywald joins KPMG Law as an expert with extensive experience in national and international transactions and joint ventures, advising both corporates and financial investors and institutions. He has broad industry expertise, including new technologies (digital economy), aerospace and automotive.
The expansion of KPMG Law’s M&A practice follows a consistent strategic orientation: “We see a dynamic M&A market and expect this to continue in the coming years.
