KPMG Law advises Qt Group on the acquisition of froglogic GmbH

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH advises the Finnish Qt Group on the acquisition of froglogic GmbH, a software company based in Germany.

Qt Group Plc (Nasdaq Helsinki: QTCOM) is a global software company operating in more than 70 industries. The company achieved net sales of 79.5 million euros in 2020 and employs 366 people. Froglogic provides quality assurance and test automation tools, as well as graphical use interface (GUI) test automation tools, code coverage analysis, and test results management that help customers assess and manage the quality assurance process throughout the application lifecycle.

Juha Varelius, president and CEO of Qt Group, said, “Qt continues to focus on growth, and the acquisition of froglogic is an important milestone in expanding our Qt software development tools and directly integrating automated testing and code coverage analysis into our product suite.”

In the context of the transaction, KPMG Law will in particular provide legal advice on the drafting and negotiation of the contractual framework underlying the transaction.
