KPMG Law strengthens its expertise in environmental law with Dr. Simon Meyer, who will become a partner at the Munich office on July 1, 2023
Simon Meyer joins from Ernst & Young Law, where he was most recently Head of Environmental Law and focused on waste, pollution control and water law.
His clients include industrial and infrastructure companies as well as municipalities, which he advises on public law issues, in particular planning, environmental and waste law. At KPMG Law, he will continue to be active nationwide from Munich in his previous areas of practice.
Simon Meyer is the second notable addition to KPMG Law’s environmental practice within a short period of time. Already in October 2022, the company strengthened its Düsseldorf office with environmental and planning lawyer Dr. Florian Gonsior as Senior Manager. Dr. Moritz Püstow, Head of the Legal Public Sector Solution Line, is pleased: “With his expertise in circular economy law, Simon Meyer is an important reinforcement for our ESG consulting. His expertise allows us to provide even more comprehensive advice on the transformation of business models.”
