His enthusiasm for architecture and construction technology led Frerk Schäfer to study engineering (construction management). His work for a pipeline construction company during his studies then showed him that an engineer today has to be able to do much more than just master his subject. After Frerk Schäfer decided to complete his first degree with a thesis on legal protection in public procurement, he wanted to try to close the gap.
Now he has been practicing as an attorney since 2012 and as a specialist attorney for construction and architectural law since 2017. Since commencing his work as a lawyer, he has been advising public and private clients as well as building contractors with a focus on private building and architectural law.
