Cilem Aksu-Aflatoon started her career as a corporate and M&A lawyer in a law firm specializing in family businesses. After gaining further experience as a member of the corporate/M&A practice group of a leading German law firm and the law firm of another Big Four accounting firm, she worked as in-house counsel responsible for corporate matters before joining KPMG Law in 2021.
Cilem Aksu-Aflatoon has more than fifteen years of professional experience and specializes in national and international M&A transactions (buy- and sell-side), restructurings and investments of corporations, medium-sized companies as well as private equity and venture capital funds at the Nuremberg office. She has gained extensive expertise from the successful implementation of numerous transactions, which she is happy to make available to clients for advice “from a single source”. She is supported in this by the transaction services and M&A experts at KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft, among others.
