André Kock

Biography

André Kock has been an admitted attorney in the Legal Financial Services department at KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft since 2019. He studied at the University of Hamburg and during his studies he worked academically in the Legal Financial Services department of KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft. His legal expertise is complemented by the commercial experience he has gained in the financial sector.

He advises national and international companies in all areas of individual and collective labor law. His industry experience extends in particular to employment and compensation law practice in the Legal Financial Services sector. A particular focus of his work lies in advising financial, capital management and insurance companies with regard to the implementation of regulatory requirements under employment law (including KWG, InstitutsVergV, AIFMD, UCITS Directive, VersVergV and IFD/ IFR). His main consulting topics include the implementation of compensation policies at individual and group level, the implementation of variable compensation in service and employment contracts, the publication of compensation information („Compensation Report“), appropriateness reviews of compensation systems, and the establishment and review of internal control systems (ICS). Another focus of his work is the review of the appropriateness of compensation systems in connection with annual financial statement or audit audits.
