Frieder Kallweit completed his studies with additional training in economics at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in public commercial law. Study visits to Warsaw and Moscow broadened his international perspective, e.g. on public law. During his legal clerkship in Dresden, he deepened his knowledge of public commercial law by working in the Department for Municipal Economy and Finance at the Saxon State Ministry of the Interior. Since entering the profession, he has been working in the field of public commercial law, with his current focus on state aid and subsidy law.
