Commentary on the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) published with contributions from KPMG Law

After years of wrangling, the Bundestag and Bundesrat transposed the EU Whistleblowing Directive into national law in 2023: The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), which has been in force since July 2023, marks a new cross-sectional matter in the German legal system in this form, which influences private, administrative and also criminal law.

The commentary on the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) from Richard Boorberg Verlag explains the HinSchG comprehensively and competently. Around a dozen authors contribute their expertise, including KPMG Law experts Bernd Federmann, Andreas Pruksch and Maik Ringel.

You can find more information about the commentary and a sample here.
