KPMG Law receives numerous awards

KPMG Law has received numerous awards: Best Lawyers in Germany has given 20 awards to KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. WirtschaftsWoche and brand eins also award prizes for legal advice.

20 lawyers from a wide range of KPMG Law practice areas have received an award from Best Lawyers. The seven full-service lawyers from the areas of corporate law, M&A and venture capital law, IT law, employment law and public business law who already received awards last year have now been joined by lawyers with expertise in data protection law, real estate law, healthcare law, construction law and immigration law.

The U.S. publisher Best Lawyers is already publishing the 12th edition of its “Best Lawyers in Germany” ranking. The list is based on the peer review system, is updated annually and published in Handelsblatt.

KPMG Law was recently named TOP law firm 2020 for compliance and employment law by WirtschaftsWoche. Dr. Konstantin von Busekist (Compliance) and
Dr. Stefan Middendorf (Labor Law) received the Top Lawyer 2020 award. For this purpose, the Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed more than 1,000 lawyers from 150 law firms to identify the most renowned colleagues. The resulting list was evaluated by a jury of experts.

The business magazine brand eins has also just named the best commercial law firms in Germany in 2020. Here, KPMG Law was able to secure a place in the top lists for the areas of compliance, corporate law and tax law.

Mathias Oberndörfer, Managing Director of KPMG Law, is delighted about the many awards: “I am proud of our broad-based team, which is so successful thanks to its high level of expertise. External appreciation and awards encourage us to keep working on our comprehensive multidisciplinary approach and to offer all our clients the best possible legal advice.”
