KPMG Law advises MEWA on the acquisition of RS Kunststoff

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) has provided legal advice to Wiesbaden-based MEWA Textil-Service AG & Co. Management OHG on the acquisition of all shares in RS Kunststoff GmbH.

MEWA is a service provider in the field of textile management with 45 locations in Germany and other European countries. RS Kunststoff GmbH in Hanau specializes in extrusion blow molding and injection molding technology and has been closely associated with MEWA as a supplier for many years. The previous shareholders of RS Kunststoff GmbH will continue to support the company in their previous management roles after the acquisition by MEWA.

KPMG Law, under the leadership of KPMG Law partner Boris Schilmar and senior manager Sebastian Stöhr, provided comprehensive advice on the transaction structuring as well as the drafting and negotiation of the agreements and corporate law documents underlying the transaction. KPMG Law worked closely with experts from KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft’s Deal Advisory and International Corporate Tax departments, who provided tax and business advice.
