Biography

As a Senior Manager at KPMG Law, Maik Ringel advises his clients comprehensively on data protection law issues that arise for private and public companies alike from the Leipzig office and as part of the compliance advisory services provided by KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft. In this respect, one focus of his work is advising banks and insurance companies as well as companies in the automotive industry on data protection law.

In addition, Maik Ringel works for local authorities and public sector companies and advises them on public commercial law, in particular in the form of municipal commercial law, public procurement law and European state aid law, as well as in the form of budgetary and public pricing law. In this context, he also advises on corporate law issues at the interface with the public law environment in which public sector companies operate.
