Cristian Barbieri studied law at the Humboldt University in Berlin. He completed his legal clerkship at the Berlin Court of Appeal, including positions at the Berlin tax authorities and at an international auditing firm. Even before his admission to the bar in early 2013, Cristian Barbieri worked for KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft in the area of international corporate taxation from 2012 to 2014.
Consulting focus
Cristian Barbieri advises on tax and white collar criminal law and compliance. The main focus of his work is advising natural persons and legal entities in situations of conflict under criminal tax law (both preventive advice and representation in administrative fine or criminal proceedings).
