KPMG Law has strengthened its Financial Services division with Philippe Lorenz as of November 1.
Philippe Lorenz joins from GSK Stockmann, where he worked for more than nine years and has been a local partner since 2021. Prior to that, he worked as a lawyer at a bank for more than three years. Philippe Lorenz has extensive expertise in banking and financial regulatory law and capital markets law. He specializes in advising on MiFID II, sustainable finance and financial distribution law. At KPMG Law, he will advise banks and financial service providers on the implementation of regulatory requirements and civil law requirements, in particular on the digitalization of services of digital financial products. Lorenz starts as a Senior Manager – the highest level below Partner at KPMG Law. He joins the team of Marc Pussar, Partner of the Financial Services Solution Line, for which Miriam Bouazza is responsible. KPMG Law advises national and international clients throughout Germany with a team of around 80 lawyers specializing in financial services.
