The North Rhine-Westphalian State Office for Combating Financial Crime (LBF NRW) is currently evaluating a data package. It is said to contain 6000 data records. The suspicion: Influencers are said to have not always paid tax on these remunerations legally. In North Rhine-Westphalia alone, the LBF is investigating indications of untaxed profits from influencers amounting to around 300 million euros.
