Digitalization is changing the way legal knowledge is accessed and used. LDA Legal Data Analytics GmbH (LDA) develops AI solutions for the legal sector to make curated specialist legal information accessible and facilitate the work of lawyers.
With the support of the LDA, the publishing house C.H.Beck has developed “Frag den Grüneberg”, an AI-based application based on the BGB commentary of the same name (hereinafter referred to as “Grüneberg”). The online application enables interactive use of the Grüneberg. Lawyers can search for specific information and ask questions in dialog with the application. The AI-generated answers are supported by citations from the original work and links to external sources in beck-online. The application runs in a closed and secure data environment; the data used is based exclusively on the current edition of Grüneberg. The application can be used on PCs and various smart devices such as tablets and smartphones.
