Dr. Ulrich Keunecke

Biography

Ulrich Keunecke is a partner at KPMG Law, heads the Legal Financial Services Insurance Sector and is the contact person for alternative investments including the topics around DLT based coins and token projects. Due to the high level of specialization of our colleagues, the optimal teams are put together specifically for each project.

Ulrich Keunecke has in-depth experience in setting up and structuring insurance companies, insurance products, insurance-related unregulated solutions as well as advising capital management companies, financial services institutions and banks including FinTechs, structuring and preparing documentation for funds, bonds and other forms of investment, taking into account investor-specific requirements (SolV II, AnlV) – also with cross-border implications – as well as providing support and drafting prospectuses for IPOs, general meetings and defending investor and shareholder lawsuits.

As a lecturer at Steinbeis University in Berlin, he is pleased to be able to pass on his practical experience to students. Furthermore, he regularly publishes on the relevant topics. In parallel, Ulrich Keunecke is involved as a business angel to support young companies.
