Thomas was most recently Director of EY Law, where he was responsible for setting up the Legal Operation, Legal Function Consulting and Legal Managed Service together with Markus Fuhrmann and Marco Wilhelmi. Her projects included the implementation and project management of CLM software, improvement of contract lifecycle management processes, benchmarking and methodological set-up of LMS projects including transparent progress monitoring. He co-authored the legal operations study “Legal Operations – the fine line between good and leading”. He is also a certified consultant for the CLM software SirionLabs.
Prior to joining EY Law, he spent over 27 years with major consultancies such as Accenture and Deloitte, advising numerous DAX 40 companies on the design and implementation of company-wide IT projects, optimization of the system and process landscape, selection of the best possible software solution, benchmarking of department-specific KPIs and outsourcing of corporate processes. By joining EY Law, he brings broad knowledge from other areas of the company to the optimization of the legal departments.
Thomas graduated from the University of Cologne with a degree in business administration. He previously completed an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk.
