Biography

Marc Goldberg advises national and international energy companies, investors and public authorities along the entire energy value chain – from municipal utilities, grid operators and energy traders to internationally active energy and infrastructure companies as well as energy-intensive companies, in particular from the industrial manufacturing, chemicals, real estate, residential construction and mobility sectors.

His focus is on energy and transactional law advice, including the interfaces to financing, development and construction of energy-related infrastructure projects. He advises on all aspects of energy law and decarbonization, in particular in connection with renewable energies, grid infrastructure, energy trading, regulation and complex contractual and approval structures.

He supports projects from the initial concept phase through to contract drafting and implementation. By working at the interface between law, technology and business, Marc Goldberg combines legal expertise with an in-depth understanding of the strategic, regulatory and market conditions of the energy transition and prepares complex energy law issues in an understandable and solution-oriented manner.
