“All that is right”: KPMG Law wins third place at the PMN Management Awards

Internationally active KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) was awarded one of the coveted trophies at the PMN Management Awards on September 19, 2013. She achieved third place in the “Communication” category with the book “Alles, was Recht ist”.

For the fifth time this year, the winners of the PMN Management Awards were determined. They are awarded to outstanding projects from the management and business service areas of law firms. Commercial law firms and accounting firms in Germany were eligible to apply with projects that set a benchmark for the industry through innovation and contribute to the firm’s business success. A five-member jury decided on the winners.

“KPMG Law’s book ‘Alles, was Recht ist’ is a wonderful, very innovative and unusual project that met with great appreciation from the jury,” said jury member Corinna Budras, editor of the “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.” “This definitely won the firm’s marketing the prize of hearts.”

“We are very pleased to receive a PMN Management Award,” said Dr. Manfred Kessler, Managing Director of KPMG Law. “Our book, as an exceptional commemorative publication celebrating five years at the firm, confirms that we are bold, innovative thinkers and understand our clients.” He thanked the head of the firm’s marketing, Kerstin Wilhelm, and the partners responsible for this project, Maximilian Gröning and Alexander Insam, for implementing it at short notice.

“Why do we need law?” was the initial question of the project, true to KPMG Law’s motto “Cutting through complexity.” Returning to the elementary questions of law gives lawyers and their clients, as well as children and young people, a fresh look at the meaning of law in everyday life. It is also intended to serve foreign clients as a gateway to German law and is therefore written in two languages.

The book is based on the idea of the KPMG Law team and is written by Dr. Juliane Schwoch of the Gutenberg Museum of the City of Mainz and Prof. Hanno Beck of Pforzheim University. The drawings are from the pen of Karsten Schreurs.
