KPMG Law: Growth in M&A and Venture Capital

KPMG Law strengthens its M&A and venture capital practice areas

The Nuremberg office of KPMG Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) has recruited Christina Klinger as a lawyer for the areas of M&A, venture capital and corporate law. The 36-year-old will move to senior manager status, which is equivalent to salary partner at other law firms, on January 1, 2017.

Klinger started her career at the beginning of 2007 at the law firm Menold Bezler in Stuttgart and was part of the international M&A practice group at Rödl & Partner’s Nuremberg office since 2010. She has ten years of experience in the advisory fields of M&A, venture capital (VC) and corporate law. Klinger advises companies in all industries on M&A projects, the establishment of joint ventures and complex corporate law measures such as SE conversions. She also assists investors with all types of VC transactions.

Dr. Daniel Kaut, who is responsible for M&A, VC and corporate law at KPMG Law in Nuremberg, is pleased about the latest addition: “The continuous growth of the M&A and corporate business at the Nuremberg office has required the addition of an experienced lateral for some time. Christina Klinger is an outstandingly qualified lawyer with an excellent track record and has excellent contacts in the M&A and VC industry. Her addition enables the focused further expansion of our advisory business in these important areas for us.”

“As one of the largest German law firms, KPMG Law offers me an excellent platform to contribute my expertise to the further development and expansion of a dynamically growing practice,” Klinger commented on her move. “The Nuremberg location has a high-caliber client portfolio that has interesting interfaces with my consulting work. This brings considerable synergy benefits. Last but not least, the entrepreneurial challenge of continuing the successful development of the Nuremberg location for KPMG Law appeals to me.”
