KPMG Law and KPMG advise the shareholders of LTB Leitungsbau on the sale to the BKW Group

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH and KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft advised the shareholders of LTB Leitungsbau GmbH, Jörg Hennersdorf and Dieter Pusch, on the sale of their shares to the Swiss BKW Infra Services.

LTB Leitungsbau, based in Radebeul near Dresden, is a company active throughout Germany in the field of overhead line construction. With around 400 employees at seven locations, LTB covers the entire range of services in the field of overhead line construction. The company generated sales of around 90 million euros in 2018.

The BKW Group is an internationally active energy and infrastructure company headquartered in Berne, which plans, builds and operates energy production and supply infrastructures for companies, private individuals and the public sector. Another focus is on digital business models for renewable energies.

The advice provided by KPMG Law in connection with the sale related to legal support in the course of due diligence and the negotiation of the share purchase and transfer agreement. The advice provided by KPMG related to the tax valuation of the transaction. The acquisition is still subject to clearance by the German Federal Cartel Office. The opposing side was advised by Rödl & Partner.
