KPMG Law advises Würth on the acquisition of ZTE business operations

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH provided legal advice to the Würth Group on the acquisition of the business operations of ZTE Zink-Technik Ellwangen GmbH.

The Würth Group specializes in the sale of assembly and fastening materials. With 78,500 employees in more than 80 countries, the Würth Group generated sales of a good fourteen billion euros in the 2019 fiscal year.

Zink-Technik Ellwangen GmbH, founded in 1999, is active in the field of galvanotechnical surface finishing, in particular the galvanizing of screws of various sizes. On April 30, 2020, the Würth Group acquired the business operations of ZTE Zink-Technik Ellwangen GmbH by way of an asset deal.

As part of the transaction, KPMG Law provided legal advice on the drafting and negotiation of the contractual framework underlying the transaction.
