KPMG Law honored at WirtschaftsWoche Best of Legal Awards

KPMG Law Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH (KPMG Law) was awarded first place in the category “Innovative Business Models & CRM” at the WirtschaftsWoche Best of Legal Awards.

With the Best of Legal Award, which was presented for the first time this year, WirtschaftsWoche honors the most innovative law firms, teams & minds and their projects. The category “Innovative Business Models & CRM” focuses on law firms that have rethought and radically changed their business model. This can refer to internal processes, organizational forms or initiatives as well as to creative or disruptive customer-oriented innovations. Interdisciplinary approaches are of particular interest.

KPMG Law secured first place with its suite of cross-disciplinary digital client solutions around robotics, general meetings, M&A deals and compliance.

“In the coming years, law firms and legal departments will have to implement more innovations than ever before,” comments Philipp Glock, Partner and Co-Head Legal Process & Technology at KPMG Law. “With novel products, cross-disciplinary expertise and technology, we are driving this revolution. The award encourages us to be on the right track.”

The WirtschaftsWoche Best of Legal Awards were presented for the first time in 2021 and honor innovative new business models and disruptive legal tech applications. A high-ranking jury evaluated the applications in four categories based on the criteria of creativity, use of new technologies and methods, interdisciplinarity, disruption and impact.
