Dr. Dirk Lange was admitted to the bar in 1992. From 1994 to 2013, he worked for a medium-sized law firm focusing on industrial consulting and operations, whose senior partners had previously worked for many years in the Siemens legal department. He has been a member of KPMG Law since 2013.
Dr. Dirk Lange studied law at the University of Erlangen and passed both state examinations in Bavaria. At the University of Constance, he was awarded the degree of Dr. jur. in 1993 on a topic from Spanish commercial law. Dr. Dirk Lange has been a specialist attorney for tax law since 1995.
Consulting focus
Dr. Lange advises national and international companies in all areas of operational business with a focus on advising and drafting supply and purchasing contracts including general terms and conditions, distribution structures, project-related joint ventures. In addition, Dr. Dirk Lange is active in and out of court in disputes in tax and corporate law.
Other activities
Dr. Dirk Lange lectures at various universities in Germany and Austria as well as for industrial associations on the drafting of operational contracts and on corporate law. At DATEV, Dr. Lange has held numerous seminars for tax advisors and published papers, in particular on topics of advisor liability and corporate law.
