Biography

Matthias Schraml specializes in public procurement law as well as subsidy and state aid law. His practice focuses on providing comprehensive advice to private companies in the public sector, the public sector, public companies, institutions and foundations on procurement projects and financing issues as well as on construction and real estate projects.

He advises on the financing of projects, taking into account available state subsidies. He also assists with the design and implementation of national and Europe-wide procurement procedures (construction, supply and services) as well as competitive procedures (concessions, investor selection procedures and public-private partnerships), including the drafting of performance-specific contracts. He advises bidding companies on their participation in procurement procedures. He represents both clients and bidders in review proceedings and other disputes.
